Oral wart growths. Clinical view of the inside of a patient's mouth showing extensive intra-oral growth of warts in a condition known as papillomatosis. There are various forms of this condition. When the growths are caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) they can be extensive and can turn cancerous. The cancerous form is known as oral florid papillomatosis, a type of verrucous carcinoma. Retractors (far left and far right) have been used to open the mouth.
