Rocket display at the National Air & Space Museum, Washington DC. White rocket at centre is a Jupiter-C depicted as the Juno-I satellite launcher that launched America's first satellite, Explorer 1 on 31 January 1958. The satellite itself is the slim silver 'pencil' at the top.
