Cave formations. Cave explorer examining limestone rock formations in a cave in Borneo. At centre is a limestone column connecting the floor to the ceiling, formed as a stalagmite grew upwards. This area is in the Clearwater Cave system, located in Gunung Mulu National Park, in Sarawak, the Malaysian part of the island of Borneo. The Clearwater Cave system is one of the largest in the world.
