Planthopper (Fulgoromorpha) nymph, a pre-adult stage of this insect. Planthopper nymphs can produce wax from their abdomens to help camouflage themselves and alter their appearance to deter predators. Photographed in Gunung Mulu National Park, in Sarawak, the Malaysian part of the island of Borneo.
