Radiated tortoise. This tortoises (Geochlene radiata) is endemic to Madagascar and is also known as 'Sokatra'. It is fairly large and considered to be one of the most beautiful tortoises in the world due to the yellow beams on its shell, which sprout out from the centre of each plate. Photographed in Madagascar.
