Weather instruments on the dome at Kew Observatory, Old Deer Park, Richmond, London, UK. These are radiation monitoring instruments, with an anemometer vane at top. Kew Observatory, established in 1769, was an astronomical and geophysical observatory. It included equipment operated by the Met Office, the UK's national weather monitoring and forecasting service. Magnetic and meteorological observations were carried out here until 1980, when the Met Office facilities were relocated.
