Common gull (Larus canus) flying over moorland. This seabird is found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. It mostly feeds on fish, but is also an opportunistic scavenger and will eat prey on land, such as mice and worms. Photographed in April, over the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland.
