Parasitic wasp larvae. Brood of Spathius agrili parasitic wasp larvae feeding on an emerald ash borer (EAB, Agrilus planipennis) larva in an ash log. This Chinese wasp is being used as a biocontrol for EAB infestations that can cause major destruction to ash trees.
