Indian pomelo. This ripe pomelo fruit has been peeled and cut ornamentally for the table. Two beetles are at left. Watercolour by the British artist Olivia Fanny Tonge (1858-1949). This artwork is from a collection of watercolours drawn by Tonge in the period 1908 to 1913, during two visits to India. The collection was presented to the Natural History Museum, London, UK, in 1952.
