Antarctic research station. Simpson Building (Ice and Climate Building, ICB) at the Halley research station, Antarctica. This building is raised each year to counteract the build up of snow. It houses the Dobson spectrophotometer, the earliest instrument used to measure atmospheric ozone, and the one that was used to discover the ozone hole.
