The adrenal glands are at upper centre. This page is from volume 7 of the 1734 edition of 'The Philosophical Transactions', an abridged collection of papers from the Royal Society. The original paper was published in 1725 by the British surgeon John Ranby (1703-1773) in volume 33 of 'Philosophical Transactions'. Ranby was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1724.
