Breast cancer surgery scar. Prosthetic scar on a woman's back, simulating the scarring that is left after breast cancer surgery. This surgery removes a malignant tumour in cases of breast cancer. This can range from a lumpectomy (local excision) to a full mastectomy (breast removal). This scar on the back shows where muscle was obtained and repositioned for use as a breast reconstruction implant.
