Military diver training. Mine clearance divers inspecting a mine on the seabed. They are wearing an Aqua Lung CRAB rebreathers. Rebreathers recycle the diver's exhaled gas. This recycling reduces the volume of breathing gas used, making a rebreather lighter and more compact. This makes it particularly suited to mine clearance roles as it allows the diver to get closer to the suspect device.
