Aircraft flight control display at the 2011 Paris Air Show. The controls are for a twin-engined turboprop aircraft. They include (from left to right) elevator trim, emergency brake (black and yellow stripes), power for engines 1 and 2 (with control lock), propeller pitch levers for engines 1 and 2 and flap controller (white). Turboprop aircraft typically set their engine power to a pre-defined level, then fine tune the thrust available by changing the propeller pitch (the angle between the propeller blade and the oncoming air).
