Household uses of acids. Four household products that use acids: vinegar, lemon juice, a carbonated drink, and a car battery. Vinegar contains acetic acid, also known as ethanoic acid. Lemon juice contains citric acid. Carbonated drinks contain carbonic acid. Car batteries contain sulphuric acid. Also shown is a laboratory bottle of dilute sulphuric acid.
