Met Office forecaster. British meteorologist and forecaster Norman Ellis, who worked at the Met Office from 1947 to 1984. He was a forecaster for BBC television from 1959 to 1964. The Met Office is the UK's national weather monitoring and forecasting service. Photographed in September 1960, at the Met Office's London Weather Centre, Princes House, Kingsway, London. The London Weather Centre was located here from its founding in 1959 to 1965.
