Jumping spider. Coloured scanning electron micrograph (SEM) of a Myrmarachne formicaria jumping spider, showing its numerous eyes (round), and large chelicerae (lower centre) - pincers that are used to tear up its food. Jumping spiders stalk their prey before leaping on it from a few centimetres away. Spiders of the Myrmarachne genus look very similar to, and mimic, ants.
