Zodiacal light. The zodiacal light (white triangular glow), seen only in dark night skies, appears to extend up from the vicinity of the sun along the ecliptic, or zodiac. Also seen are two meteors (bottom right) and the Milky Way. Photographed in August during the peak of the annual Perseid meteor shower.
