European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus) using its hind leg to scratch its face. This herbivorous mammal is native to Europe but has been introduced to many regions worldwide, and has also been extensively domesticated. Wild rabbits in Europe live in underground warrens, emerging to feed on grass, though browsing for other plants as well. Photographed in June, in Dorset, UK.
