The Flashing tilefish, Hoplolatilus chlupatyi, inhabits the Indo-Pacific. The species frequents areas with rubble or sand bottoms. The species is famous for its ability to rapidly change colour from oranges or reds to deep metallic blues, thus the common name. Photographed in 2010.
