Timelapse footage of a decomposing rat (Rattus norvegicus). By this stage the soft tissues have all been eaten by carrion beetles (Silphidae) and other animals, and all that is left are fur and bones. This is the last in a series of nine clips showing the decomposition of the rat over two weeks. For the full sequence, see clips K003 2675-2683.
