Devil's Throat pit crater, in the Eastern Rift Zone of Kilauea volcano, on the Big Island, Hawaii, one of the best examples of a collapse crater in the world (a crater that just collapsed, not the top of a volcano). Width is 164 feet (50m), depth 161 feet (49m). It originated as a small crack in 1921.
