This non contrast axial (cross sectional) CT image of the head which includes the orbital regions (containing the eyes) shows a dislocated lens in the right (viewers left) eye and a phthsis bulbi in the left (viewers right) eye. Phthsis bulbi is a chronically shrunken globe (eye ball) with calcifications and is the end result of any insult to the eye such as infection and trauma.
