Bahama strongbark, also known as pigeon berry; Bourreria succulenta. The fruits are juicy and edible. A common plant of the dry forests of the West Indies and southern Florida. Photographed in Guanica dry forest, southwestern Puerto Rico, where it is known locally as vaca tree, vaca being Spanish word for cow.
