Biofilm Growth - Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Rocks in a stream bed are often slippery due to the growth of a mixed population of attached bacteria, algae and fungi. These Pseudomonas aeruginosa (bacteria) are shown growing on the surface of a fiber and forming a single species biofilm.
