Caption

Copper (I) iodide precipitate in a conical flask. Copper sulphate (CuSO4, left) and potassium iodide (KI, right) react to produce potassium sulphate and copper (I) iodide. The copper (I) iodide is a white precipitate whilst the potassium sulphate remains in solution.
