Heart anatomy. Coloured 16th-century artwork of the anatomy of the heart, its blood vessels and nerves. This artwork is from 'Isagogae breves' (1523), an anatomical work by the Italian physician Jacopo Berengario da Carpi (1460-1530). The text labels are in Latin. This copy of this artwork is from the library of the Paris Faculty of Medicine.
