Caption

Adolescent male proboscis monkey (Narsalis larvatus) in a tree. This monkey is only found on the island of Borneo, where it lives in trees in rainforests and feeds on leaves and fruits. It is usually found near water, and unusually for a primate it is a good swimmer and is often seen in rivers. Only the male has the prominent nose for which it is named. Proboscis monkeys are listed as endangered by the IUCN Red List. Filmed in Bako National Park, Sarawak, Malaysia.
