One of the fastest tidal waters in the world. On a three-meter tide change, 200 billion gallons of sea water flow through the Skookumchuck Narrows and Sechelt Rapids which connects Sechelt Inlet to Jervis Inlet on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, north of Vancouver, Canada.
