Potassium-phosphorus fertiliser. Granules of a fertiliser containing the chemical elements potassium (K) and phosphorus (P). Both elements, along with nitrogen (N), are essential for healthy plant growth. Typical fertilisers combine the three and are referred to as NPK fertilisers. The potassium is usually obtained from potash ores, with phosphorus obtained from phosphate rocks.
