Urine chlamydia test. Urine being added to a tube in which a test will be carried out for the sexually transmitted disease (STD) chlamydia. This disease is caused by the virus-like bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It can cause genital, eye and lymph node infections, as well as non-specific urethritis (inflammation of the urethra).
