Wagler's pit viper (Tropidolaemus wagleri), Bako National Park, Sarawak, Borneo, Malaysia. This species is a venomous green pit viper found throughout south east asia. The term 'pit viper' refers to heat-sensing 'pits' which are located on each cheek. The sensors are used to locate prey.
