Galls on a beech leaf (Fagus sp.). Galls are abnormal growths on a plant caused by chemicals secreted by a parasitic insect. The chemicals cause the growth of the galls, which surround a protect the insect larvae, and supply them with food as they develop. Filmed in Denmark.
