Coral spot fungus (Nectria cinnabarina) growing on wood in a beech forest. Coral spot is commonly found on dead wood, but it can be a pathogen of living trees also. Several mites are seen walking in between the conidiophores (fruiting bodies) of the fungus. Filmed in Denmark.
