Caption

Magpie mushroom (Coprinopsis picacea) growing in forested wetlands. This mushroom is a type of ink cap, so called as its cap curls up and deliquesces, turning into a dark liquid containing the spores. This fungus is poisonous, and may sometimes be mistaken for its edible relative Coprinus comatus. Filmed in Denmark.
