Dreikanters. Dreikanters are three-sided ventifacts, which are wind-eroded stones. They usually occur in desert areas where strong winds together with sand account for the necessary abrasion of the rocks surface. These features may occur on large bedrock surfaces, but also on individual stones and pebbles, as seen in this example.
