Yellow pitcher plant (Sarracenia flava) and other plants, 18th-century artwork. This watercolour, by British botanist William Young (1742-1785), dates from 1767 when he in the USA (then a British colony) as Queen's Botanist. This artwork is held at the Natural History Museum, UK.
