Macrophotograph of the Aspergillus fumigatus fungus isolated from a human ear where it was causing an infection, seen here at 7 weeks, grown on dextrose agar, showing a perfect phase, i.e. both sexual (yellow) and asexual (blue-green) spores. Characteristic of this species are the brown aerial hyphae.
