Voskhod-2. The rocket carrying the Voskhod-2 spacecraft sitting on tis launchpad. Voskhod-2 was launched on 18 March 1965, carrying cosmonauts Alexei Leonov and Pavel Belyayev. During the 26-hour mission Leonov performed the first ever spacewalk. He used a special inflatable airlock to exit the spacecraft's capsule, while Belyayev remained inside. The spacewalk took place over the Ukraine and Caucasus mountains, and lasted 10 minutes. An umbilical cable carried oxygen to Leonov, as well as acting as his lifeline. The failure of one retro-rocket led to the spacecraft landing 2000 kilometres off-course.
