Russky bridge construction. View of a part-completed tower at one end of the Russky Bridge. This is the longest cable-stayed bridge in the world, with a length of 1885 metres and a central span of 1104 metres. The 320-metre high towers either side of the bridge are the anchor points for stay cables that directly support the bridge deck. The bridge, opened in 2012, links Russky Island with the city of Vladivostok, Russia.
