The urine leaves the body through the urethra (bottom). The urethra is also the route for sperm (male sex cells) to leave the body from the testes (not seen). The sperm pass along the vas deferens (red, upper right) and are mixed with fluids from the seminal vesicle (centre right) and the prostate gland (below bladder) to form semen. Fluids are also aded from Cowper's gland (yellow, lower centre). The pubic bone is at left (cream block).
