Black and yellow garden spider (Argiope aurantia) spider wraps clouded sulphur butterfly (Colias philodice) in silk in Ohio, USA. Clouded sulphurs are found throughout much of the US and Canada and are known to gather in fields in late summer by the tens of thousands to mate and lay eggs and where some become prey for spiders and other predators.
