Clouded sulphur butterfly (Colias philodice) struggling in spider web in Ohio, USA. Camera pans to black and yellow garden spider (Argiope aurantia) which is occupied with another clouded sulphur it has already wrapped in silk. Clouded sulphurs are found throughout much of the US and Canada and are known to gather in fields in late summer by the tens of thousands to mate and lay eggs and where some become prey for spiders and other predators.
