Reticulosarcoma. Light micrograph of reticulocyte blood cells (red, one at upper left) from a lymphatic ganglion in a case of reticulosarcoma. The cell at centre has a very large and dystrophic (abnormal) nucleus. Sarcomas are a form of cancer that arise from various tissues including blood-producing tissues such as bone marrow. Reticulocytes are immature red blood cells.
