Oil tanker rudder. Rudder of the Eagle Sydney super oil tanker (constructed in 2009). The rudder is visible as the tanker is empty and moored in a harbour. Oil tankers are large, slow-moving vessels with a single steel rudder that can weigh over 100 tons. This tanker is 229 metres by 42 metres.
