Rhinoceros poaching notice. This deterrent notice on the outside fences of a game reserve warns that rhinoceros horns are treated with chemicals and an indelible dye. The chemical is poisonous if ingested and the bright pink internal dye renders the horn unsaleable. Although illegal to hunt and trade horns, Rhinoceros horns are still highly sought after for use in traditional medicines and for decorative ornaments.
