Lymphangioma circumscriptum. Close-up of a rare and benign (non-cancerous) tumour of the skin known as Lymphangioma circumscriptum. It consists of a collection of abnormal lymph vessels. They resemble blisters that, if damaged, fill with blood giving a red or in this case purple appear- ance. The growth sometimes disappears on its own, but most cases require removal.
