Faraday on electromagnetism. Page from the notebooks of British physicist Michael Faraday (1791-1867), showing expected results of experiments on electromagnetism. The date of 19 January 1823 is at top left, with additional dates (27 January) within the notes. This is the second of two pages describing 24 experiments. For the two pages, see C015/4896 and C015/4891. Faraday made several major advances in the fields of magnetism and electricity, devising the first electric motor and equipment such as transformers and dynamos. He worked at the Royal Institution, London, UK.
