Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of a sagittal section through the cervical (neck) region of the spine of a 22-year-old patient, showing the presence of bone lesions in the C3, C4 and C5 vertebrae suggestive of Ewing's sarcoma. Ewing's sarcoma is a malignant (cancerous) small-round-blue-cell tumour (SRBCT); a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or soft tissue.
