Solar panel arrays on tracking bases. The solar panels are arrays of photovoltaic cells which contain silicon, a semiconductor material that absorbs energy from sunlight and converts it into an electrical current. Solar power is a renewable and clean source of energy. These arrays are mounted on tracker bases that allow them to be turned to follow the Sun across the sky, maximising the power produced. Photographed in Spain.
